‘I have FIRST dates in the gym – any man who wants to be with me has to keep up with my workout routine’

A fitness influencer has revealed that she has first dates in the gym – because any potential suitors must be fit enough to “keep up” with her fitness regime.
Renata Pereira is all about the gains – spending upwards of three hours in the gym every day.
The content creator, who has 311,000 Instagram followers, is so dedicated to her routine that she even incorporates it into her dating life.
The 25-year-old – who was titled to have the ‘perfect fitness standard’ by Playboy Norway – says dating someone with a similar mindset is a must.
And if the lads complain about the workouts, they’re out.
“If a guy can’t even try to keep up with me during a workout, how is he going to keep up with my life?,” Renata told Need To Know.
“For me, the gym is not just a workout space –it’s also where I schedule my first dates.
“I believe the best way to test compatibility with a potential partner is doing an intense exercise routine together.
“I’ve tried using fitness-focused dating apps in the past to help me filter out people with a lifestyle similar to mine.
“But I soon realised that even those who claimed to be active didn’t take training as seriously as I did.
“There was a time when I met up with a guy and during the warm-up, he was already complaining about being tired.
“We hadn’t even started the harder part of the workout, and he already wanted to sit down and rest.
“In the end, we went out to eat but I knew there wasn’t going to be a second date.”

In another situation, Renata scheduled a training session with a potential date who claimed he had been working out for years.
However, after a few exercises, he asked to stop because he was feeling dizzy.
She said: “I was worried but also found it funny.
“He realised he couldn’t keep up and even joked that next time, we should just go out for dinner.”
Aside from spending endless hours in the gym, Renata also maintains a highly-controlled diet – focusing on lean protein, ‘strategic’ carbs and supplements to enhance muscle definition.
She said: “What I eat and how I train aren’t just habits; they’re part of my identity.
“It’s not a phase or something temporary – it’s my life.
“The body responds to what you do daily.
“If someone leads a sedentary life, it affects everything – including energy levels and sex drive.
“I’ve been involved with people who didn’t share my routine and, for me, the difference was huge.
“I want someone with an active lifestyle who understands this dedication and shares it with me.”
