Late Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota, who tragically died in a car crash alongside his brother, left behind an estimated £35 million estate.
His widow, Rute, and their three children are set to inherit the fortune, ensuring their financial security.
Jota earned millions during his career, starting with Wolverhampton Wanderers and later moving to Liverpool, where his salary peaked at £140,000 per week.
Liverpool is reportedly planning to honour the remaining £14.5 million of his contract.
Beyond football, Jota had endorsement deals with Nike and EA Sports, earning an extra £3.3 million annually, and founded his own Esports team, Luna Galaxy.
He also owned luxury properties, a fleet of high-end cars worth over £1 million, and operated an image rights company.
Jota’s death came just 13 days after marrying Rute, his longtime partner.
He is remembered not just for his talent on the pitch, but also for his smart financial planning and entrepreneurial ventures.
