Nigerian blogger and social critic, Tosin Silverdam, has added his voice to the prolonged tension between Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin.
The latest spark in their conflict came after Lizzy marked her fifth wedding anniversary with a post that curiously focused more on her beef with Iyabo than her marriage. In response, Tosin posted a video that quickly went viral, advising Iyabo to seek spiritual cleansing to bring peace.
In his words:
“At this point, Iyabo Ojo needs to carry a sacrifice to appease Lizzy Anjorin. Because how can someone dedicate her wedding anniversary to dragging you?”
Tosin didn’t stop there. He also questioned the true cause of their years-long dispute, which remains unclear.
“I even thought the marriage was 10 years, not 5. You’re celebrating five years of marriage and instead of focusing on love, you focus on your enemy? It’s giving unhappiness, it’s giving obsession.”
Although Iyabo has not directly replied to Tosin’s video, she posted a cryptic message soon after Lizzy’s rant, which fans interpreted as a subtle response.
Still, Tosin believes the back-and-forth needs to end and urged Iyabo to take the higher road for the sake of closure and calm.
