The African Democratic Party (ADC) has appointed David Itopa as its interim deputy national welfare secretary.

Bolaji Abdullahi, the interim national publicity secretary of the coalition party made this disclosure on Monday, July 21, 2025.

According to Abdullahi, Itopa’s appointment is a move by the coalition party to ensure absolute participation of members and supporters.

In a post made on X, the ADC interim national publicity secretary said the party is committed to ensuring youths across the country are involved in politics and governance.

He wrote on X, “Congratulations to David Itopa on your appointment as the interim Deputy National Welfare Secretary of our great party, ADC.

“Again, this is a reminder that the ADC is poised at ensuring the participation and involvement of Nigerian youths both in politics and governance,” Abdullahi said.
