Inter Milan are seriously interested in Ademola Lookman, and they are making moves to seal the deal
Former Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan have scheduled a meeting with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman next week as they plan to table an improved offer for the Super Eagles forward.
Lookman has been the subject of numerous transfer talks in the past year. And this summer, the talks have increased since it was confirmed that he already had an understanding with Atalanta that he would leave.
Understand plan remains for Ademola Lookman to LEAVE Atalanta this summer.
Atalanta will try to clarify the situation with Gasperini in the next 24h after strong quotes… but won’t change future plans.

Lookman has been linked with clubs in Juventus, Napoli Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal, and other top clubs in Europe.
Then last week, news broke that former Italian champions Inter Milan are seriously interested in signing him.
They already tabled a bid of €40 million to Atalanta for the 27-year-old attacker last week, but La Dea are unsatisfied with that offer.
Recall that in a follow-up report by Soccernet.ng, Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio maintained that they want to get the deal sorted quickly.

Now, in a new development, per Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, the Nerazzurri will meet with Atalanta next week.
The Nerazzurri have raised their offer to €45 million and are willing to discuss other variables and bonuses that would see the price rise further.
Why Inter Milan have to move quickly for Ademola Lookman
Inter Milan are the first club to openly show interest in Ademola Lookman, agree personal terms with him, and made attempts to sign him.
However, they need to move quickly, as the transfer market is heating up, and clubs are seriously looking for reinforcements.

Atletico Madrid have been heavily linked with the former Fulham star. They need a new left-winger after Angel Correa left the club for Tigres UANL.
Given their pedigree, a transfer to Atleti would be enticing for Lookman. If Inter Milan do not get the transfer over the line, Los Rojiblancos could capitalize.
Lookman is quite affordable at €60 million, and it would not be a problem for most top clubs to swoop in if he is willing.
