The Kano State Hospitals Management Board has announced the recruitment of medical doctors to address the shortage of personnel in public hospitals across the state.

In an internal memo addressed to Chief Medical and Zonal Directors, the board asked qualified MBBS holders to submit applications for medical officer positions.

“All interested doctors with an MBBS degree who have been inducted by the Medical Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), including those trained outside the country and have successfully passed the required assessments and obtained their MDCN certificate, are hereby advised to apply as medical officers to the board headquarters,” said Dr. Aisha Bello Dambatta, Director of Medical Services, who signed the notice on behalf of the Executive Secretary.
