- Gistlover reports that the 34-year-old media personality disclosed this in an interview with journalist Femi Obong-Daniels.
Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Seyi Awolowo, has sparked conversations online with his candid remarks about the challenges of monogamy for men.
In a recent interview with journalist Femi Obong-Daniels, the 34-year-old media personality admitted that staying committed to just one woman can be a struggle, especially in a country like Nigeria where beauty abounds.
Seyi humorously likened the temptation to being surrounded by irresistible dishes.
“Concentrating on one woman is difficult, especially with the amount of beauties that are out there. Nigerian women are beautiful. It’s difficult to concentrate on one woman, today you will see egusi, tomorrow efo riro, pizza and sandwich. It’s very difficult“.
Despite the temptations, Seyi acknowledged that loyalty is a rare gift, one that requires personal discipline and self-awareness.
“But the ability to be loyal to one, I think it’s a gift from God. At the same time, for the individuals, it’s how you manage yourself, how you know how to be practical with yourself because some people tend to bite off more than the can chew in a lot of cases. If you can handle it [dating multiple women], handle it right but if you can’t, don’t,” he concluded.
Seyi’s bold comments have triggered mixed reactions, with some praising his honesty and others questioning the comparison.
