Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has shared excerpts from a WhatsApp group formed by individuals advocating for justice over the death of singer Mohbad.
In a recent video, VDM revealed that he has been investigating Mohbad’s death by interviewing people who were close to the late artist. As part of his findings, he exposed a WhatsApp group that includes celebrities such as Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Davido’s aide Dre, and others, claiming they all have significant connections within law enforcement and security agencies.
VDM noted that the group members were vocal about demanding an autopsy 33 days after Mohbad’s passing. However, he alleged their demands were insincere and aimed at misleading the public. He referenced a chat where Tonto Dikeh allegedly downplayed the importance of the autopsy, claiming it would only implicate the nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad.
He also claimed the group was determined to ensure that Naira Marley and Sam Larry remained in custody. According to him, Tonto Dikeh reported information from her source that the suspects might be released and urged others in the group to intervene.
VDM accused the group of trying to divert attention away from what actually transpired in the house on the day of Mohbad’s death. He claimed they deliberately misled the public to conceal the truth.
Additionally, VDM alleged that Tonto Dikeh was the first to question the paternity of Mohbad’s son, Liam. He shared messages suggesting the group was considering a private DNA test, as they doubted Mohbad was the child’s biological father.
He further accused the group of trying to shift blame onto Mohbad’s father and using the justice campaign for personal interests, rather than genuine concern for the deceased.
It is worth noting that Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh are currently in court with VDM over defamation claims stemming from past social media exchanges.
