TikTokers Remanded for Accusing Mohbad’s Widow Wunmi of Murder

Two TikTokers, Saheed Jamiu Osama and Uyime Godwin Udoekwere, have been remanded in custody for allegedly accusing Omowunmi Aloba, widow of the late singer Mohbad, of murder.

The pair were arraigned before Justice Ibrahim Kala of the Federal High Court in Lagos on charges of conspiracy, cyberstalking, and defamation.

Their arrest followed a viral protest where they held placards reading, “Wunmi Killed Mohbad! Period! E No Go Better For Wunmi.”

The court has scheduled their prosecution for September 25, 2025, and they will remain in Ikoyi Correctional Centre until the case is resolved.
