Actor Gideon Okeke Cries Out Over Skin Reaction from Unwashed Nollywood Costume

Nigerian actor Gideon Okeke has expressed frustration after developing rashes all over his body following a recent film shoot.

Taking to Instagram, he criticized the Nollywood wardrobe department for issuing him unwashed animal-skin costumes, urging them to ensure proper hygiene before passing outfits to other actors.

“The yeye wey dey that wardrobe dey smell,” he wrote, describing the experience as one of his “Diaries from a Nollywood epic.”

In other news….. A 12-year-old boy, Emeka Nzeruike, who was arrested in 2015 for alleged theft, has been freed after spending 10 years in prison without trial.

Lawyer @_youfoundalex shared the story on X, revealing Emeka had no legal representation or trial until his recent release at age 22.

“Today at the prisons, I met a boy who has been in prison for 10 years. He was sent to prison when he was 12 in 2015. He is 22 now, still in prison awaiting trial for stealing. If I was told this story, I would hardly believe it,” the lawyer wrote.

With help from his colleagues, lawyer @_youfoundalex secured Emeka’s release after 10 years of wrongful detention.

He added, “At the young age of 12, Emeka Nzeruike was thrown into prison in 2015 alone, afraid, and forgotten. No trial, no lawyer, no voice. Today, we stood where justice had long been silent. We held his hands, walked him out of the courtroom, and gave him back his future. Welcome back, Emeka.”

The post went viral, sparking outrage, sympathy, and support from social media users.
