The Super Eagles prospect has been linked with multiple clubs in recent weeks due to his fine performances in the Super Lig
Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis is on the radar of European clubs Lokomotiv Moscow, Rennes, and German Bundesliga club Augsburg, Soccernet.ng reports.
Dennis is coming off an impressive campaign at Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe. The 21-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder featured in 32 league games and averaged 1.5 interceptions, 2.3 tackles, and 7.9 ball recoveries per game.
His performances were key in Goztepe’s 8th-place finish in the Super Lig last season.
Due to his impressive performance at Goztepe, Dennis has been linked with bigger clubs abroad. He was recently linked with Anderlecht, but they could not price him away from Goztepe.
Now, in a related development, per Spor Arena, Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, French Ligue 1’s Rennes, and Bundesliga club Augsburg are interested in Dennis.
However, it might be a bit complicated, as Dennis still has two years left on his contract at Goztepe, and the club want up to €8 million before they sanction the transfer.

But in the actual sense, Dennis is valued at €4 million on Transfermarkt. This might push suitors away, especially Rennes, Lokomotiv Moscow, and Augsburg, who are meager spenders.
Nonetheless, they could still work a way out soon.
Anthony Dennis with the Super Eagles
Anthony Dennis rose to reckoning earlier in March, when he was named in Eric Chelle’s provisional list for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

However, he did not make the final cut, as Chelle snubbed him due to the quality of the other players in the defensive midfield position.
Nonetheless, Dennis is still young and will continue to grow. If he does that, it will only be a matter of time before he break into the Super Eagles fold.
