Why Peter Obi resorted to donating money to schools – Reno Omokri

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has given insight into why Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, resorted to donating money to schools.

Omokri said Obi did not donate money to schools and various institutions nationwide until he decided to run for office.

He also said that the former governor of Anambra State, took to serving food at events and his residence because he wanted the public to see him as a humble person.

Further describing Obi’s actions as manipulative, Omokri said the former governor only does some of these things to garner votes from the public.

In a post made on X, the former presidential aide said Obi is a skilled actor acting out a script.

“Peter Obi never donated money to schools and individuals until he wanted to run for office. He also did not start serving food at parties until he needed your votes.

“People who only initiated serving food and began donating money when they want to contest for the Presidency are not servant leaders.

“Rather, they are manipulators. They are skilled actors acting out a script.

“Is this not the same Peter Obi who, when he thought no one would hear him, was plotting “religious war” against the Muslim Ummah?” Omokri queried.

He further noted that humility and generosity those not just come with elections and votes but are supposed to be inherent.

“Generosity and humility that come because of the election will also go after the election!

“Don’t worry, Peter, Nigerians will serve you breakfast too in 2027!“ he added.
