Nicole Chikwe, the wife of Nigerian rapper Naeto C, has confessed that despite her years in the spotlight, she still gets completely starstruck by Nollywood icon Genevieve Nnaji.
Sharing the story of a recent chance meeting at a café in Ikoyi, Nicole described the moment as magical. She recalled that when Genevieve walked in, it felt like “the air left the room and time stood still.” Overwhelmed, she instinctively bowed in awe a gesture the actress met with laughter.
Nicole admitted that, even after 14 years of being around celebrities, Genevieve is the one person who still makes her nervous.
She said: “I want to talk about one person in particular because there is one person who whenever i’m in this person’s presence i feel like i am in the presence of a star and i am shook and i am weak every single time and that person is Genevieve Nnaji and even till now 14 years later whenever i see her i’m still just like like i’m trying not to faint. She’s just a star.”
She concluded by praising Genevieve’s undeniable aura and timeless star power, saying her admiration has only grown stronger with time.
