Sources claim his arrest is connected to an ongoing domestic violence case related to the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, who passed away on October 15, 2022, after suffering severe burns in a fire at their Lekki home.
IVD is expected to remain in police custody until Monday, August 4, 2025, when he is scheduled to appear in court. The airport where the arrest occurred has not yet been disclosed.
