The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has defended claims that President Bola Tinubu’s infrastructure development is skewed.

According to him, it is impossible to turn around the sector in the nation’s capital in two years.

He made this known on Monday during a media chat when asked why development is skewed in favour of infrastructure instead of the education and health sectors.

According to him, the Federal Capital Territory Administration has commenced work in the health sector.

He noted that the FCTA has kicked off work at the abandoned Utako Hospital and is carrying out rehabilitation at Gwarimpa Hospital.

“Take for instance the abandoned Utako Hospital, Gwagwalada Hospital, Gwarimpa, the doctors’ quarters, and the mess. Like I said, this is just two years in office; it is not possible to turn around every sector,” he stated.
