Saheed Alatise, the Ibadan-based broadcaster, has fallen victim to a traffic robbery attack.

It was learnt that Alatise, who works with Noble 107.1 FM Ibadan was attacked around mile 110 area along Dugbe–Apata Road in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The incident occurred around 12 pm on Saturday when the broadcaster was aboard a tricycle.

Alatise in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Saturday noted that he was attempting to answer a persistent call from a radio listener.

He added that the assailant suddenly reached into the tricycle and snatched his LG Velvet mobile phone, which also serves as his online radio studio contact line 08073949431.

He added that all efforts made by him and passersby to apprehend the traffic robber proved unsuccessful.

“The robber fled the scene immediately after the theft,”
he said.
