Actor Nosa Rex has lashed out at a Ghanaian TV station for illegally airing his new film, “Prince of Peace.”
According to him, the station aired the film without authorization just six hours after its YouTube release.
In an Instagram video, Rex condemned the stations for disrespecting intellectual property rights and undermining the hard work that goes into filmmaking.
Rex called out the TV stations directly and expressed his frustration with their actions.
This isn’t the first time Ghanaian TV stations have been accused of this; other Nollywood stars like Omoni Oboli, Bimbo Ademoye, and Ruth Kadiri have also spoken out about similar experiences.
“Ghana TV station, Ghana TV Station. The TV station wey dey show our film for free. Na Ogun wey go kpai all of una. Ghana entertainment will continue to be behind. As e be say nobody wan get sense tell una say that thing wey una dey no good. I’m using this opportunity to call out all of Ghana TV stations. You guys are all stupid. No disrespect to my fans, you guys know that I love you but e don dey too much. Enough is Enough. I just released Prince of Peace, una don stream am. Why?”, he said.
