Manchester United youngster Chido Obi is set to leave on loan following the arrival of Benjamin Šeško.

Obi joined Old Trafford last October after an impressive scoring record of 32 goals in 18 games at youth level for Arsenal.

United manager Ruben Amorim handed the 17-year-old his first-team debut in February.

The teenager went on to make eight appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.

Obi was included in United’s pre-season tour squad this summer and featured in the friendlies against West Ham and Bournemouth last month.

However, Amorim did not use him in the 2-2 draw with Everton and the 1-1 draw against Fiorentina last Saturday.

The arrivals of Šeško, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer have also increased competition for places in United’s attack.
