The local said it was the woman that informed the vigilantes and hunters of the presence of the gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, in the farmland.

The information prompted the vigilantes and hunters to mobilize for bush combing. Villagers started calling family members who had gone to the farm to come home, to avoid being k!lled.

“The vigilantes later found his motorcycle and his shoes while his corpse was later found in the evening after serious bush combing with gunshot and machete cut injuries,”
