A pilot, Captain Boaz Agbonifoh, has reacted to the incident involving Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson, that has sparked reactions across the country and beyond.

Speaking on ‘Sunrise Daily’, a programme on Channels Television on Tuesday, the pilot said selective justice led the passenger to prison.

“Yes, it’s looking like selective justice, because nobody did that to KWAM 1. But it’s like because she’s a woman nobody knows, she can just get the whole brunt of the law.

“I heard this morning that she’s in territory prison, and I’m like, wait, when did the judge preside on this? When did all of these things go on,” he asked.

Weighing in on the cabin crew action, the pilot said there should be some form of training to breach conflict resolution among cabin crew.

He lamented the type of training they underwent that made them humiliate the passenger in such a manner.

“Now for the entire situation, there are three people I blame; the security agencies, the flight crew, the ground personnel.

“This kind of thing can only happen in Nigeria. So I don’t know what the training is like in Nigeria, and how they get their training,” he added.
