The Presidency on Wednesday accused former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, of peddling falsehoods while criticising President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Special Adviser to Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, made the remark when he appeared on Channels TV.

He criticised the opposition leaders for their alleged unconstructive criticism, saying Peter Obi’s claims always fail to pass forensic tests.

He said, “Opposition cannot come here and talk about malnutrition, you know why? They don’t have the ideas.

“Till today, the opposition has not come up with any policy issues to say President Tinubu is wrong, this is how it should be.

“Listening to them, the person, who came close in discussing policy is Peter Obi.

“Unfortunately, Peter Obi is doing ‘catch and carry.’ Whenever you subject what he says to forensic analysis, it always comes out as falsehood.”
