Reality TV star Esther Agunbiade has expressed gratitude after overcoming a difficult period in her life.
Counting down to her birthday in an emotional Instagram post, Esther opened up that she had received news that she needed surgery, a development that initially left her feeling overwhelmed.
She thanked God for seeing her through what she described as a mentally draining season and for the gift of life.
Esther also appreciated her loved ones for their unwavering support, love, and care during the challenging time.
She said, “It’s my birthday in less than two weeks, and before anything else… I just want to say thank you, God.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be sitting across from a doctor hearing the words: The only solution is surgery.”
“That moment felt surreal. Me? Surgery? To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if this was something I’d ever post… but I have been reflecting and realised I need to testify.
“Dear God, thank you. Thank you for carrying me through one of the most mentally draining seasons of my life. Thank you for the gift of life. And to the people God placed in my life to show up for me. Thank you! I love you so much!”
