Actor, Debo Adebayo aka Mr Macaroni has lambasted NIDCOM boss, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

He was reacting over her tweet on singer, Wasiu Ayinde aka KWAM1.

Following the altercation beteween Fuji star and some employees of ValueJet at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, last Tuesday, after he was stopped from boarding a flight with a flask which they claimed contained alcohol, Abike went only to beg on behalf of the singer.

This is after it was reported that the pilot of the aircraft, Captain Ranti Ogoyi had claimed KWAM1 spilled the contents of his flask on her after she approached him to settle the matter. The singer then tried to prevent the aircraft from flying without him as he stood in front of it.

In a video shared, KWAM1 is seen on the tarmac refusing to move away from the aircraft, potentially hindering its departure, and narrowly avoided being hit by the plane as it taxied.

Following his incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and the public outcry, the Fuji music maestro was forced to tender an apology to President Tinubu, the captain of the flight, his fans and any other person that felt offended by his actions.

Ms Abike who is close friend of the singer, shared a video of him apologising and wrote ‘’Kwam1’s apology on the airport incident. To err is human”

Many Nigerians felt her post was insensitive as it was not advocating for the singer to pay for the crime committed but that it be overlooked because of his apology.

Mr Macaroni took to his X handle to tackle Abike. He argued that by her tweet, Ms Abike has shown she doesn’t deserve to hold a public office, adding that her Tweet means it is okay to commit a crime, issue an apology and absolve themselves without any consequences.
