Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has stirred conversation online after throwing shade at Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for being absent from Davido and Chioma Adeleke’s grand wedding in Miami.

The celebrity barman had earlier revealed he missed the high-profile event because his US visa application was denied, expressing disappointment at not being able to celebrate with the couple.

But Klintoncod wasn’t buying the story. In a recent post on X, he pointed out that Isreal DMW, Davido’s aide who has limited English skills still managed to make the trip to Miami. He wrote:

“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha. Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get. Baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha.”

In response to a social media user defending Cubana Chief Priest by recalling his claim of a past visa denial before he became famous, Klintoncod stood firm in his disbelief, simply replying: “Dead talk still!!”

Cubana Chief Priest has not yet responded to Klintoncod’s comments.

Afrobeats superstar Davido and his longtime love Chioma Rowland sealed their union in a jaw-dropping white wedding at the upscale Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami, USA. The affair was perfectly balanced emotional moments with pure luxury.

The celebration, which followed their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and court wedding in March 2023, drew a glittering crowd of Nigerian celebrities, political heavyweights, and business tycoons.
