Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako, has revealed the challenges she faced for supporting President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 elections.

Speaking in an interview with Behind The Fame TV, Foluke said she lost two ambassadorship deals valued at 10 million and 15 million naira because of her support for Tinubu.

She added that her choice of Tinubu almost ruined her marriage.

She said: “The truth of the matter is, for me, the way I was in 2023 cannot be the way I will be in 2027. It can’t be because… I know what I lost without collecting a kobo, no matter how much is seen. I lost two ambassorial deals, one 10 million, one 15 million, because of the election, because of Obidient movement. I almost lost my marriage.

“I almost lost my marriage but the fundamental thing is that I voted my conscience and choice.”

Daramola-Salako was appointed media assistant for the performing arts directorate department of the APC’s 2023 presidential campaign council in Lagos State.

Despite facing backlash, she maintained her loyalty to Tinubu, describing him as a father figure who had supported her on numerous occasions, including her wedding.
