Sevilla manager Matías Almeyda has confirmed Chidera Ejuke available for his side’s opening LaLiga game of the season.
The Rojiblancos will travel to San Manes for their matchday one encounter against Athletico Bilbao on Sunday.
Ejuke sustained a thigh injury in training last month, and only returned to training this week.
Almeyda revealed that the Nigeria international is in contention to face Athletico Bilbao.
“Pedrosa, Ejuke, and Idumbo will be available. Tomorrow I’ll announce the players who will travel, and I always like them to know first,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.
Ejuke’s compatriot Jerome Adams is also expected to be included in the squad.
