Senator Moro decries rising kidnapping incidents in Benue South, calls for urgent actions

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, has expressed worries over the rising cases of kidnapping in parts of the senatorial district, particularly in Orokam District of Ogbadibo LGA.

Senator Moro, in a statement by his Media Adviser, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, said he is saddened that his constituents in the besieged communities are living in fear, with many residents fleeing their homes.

He said, “The senator condemns the insecurity in the strongest terms and calls on the governments of Benue State and Ogbadibo LGA to sit up and work with the relevant stakeholders and security agents to nip the ugly situation in the bud.

“He extends his sympathy to the victims recently freed and prays that those still in captivity regain their freedom unhurt.”
