Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood, has predicted Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season.
Sherwood also backed the likes of Liverpool (first), Manchester City (second), Arsenal (third), and Chelsea (fourth) to finish in the Premier League top four this term.
When asked to give his prediction for the club to win the Premier League title this season, Sherwood said, as quoted by the Premier League’s website: “Liverpool.”
Explaining his pick, Sherwood said: “They have had fantastic recruitment and they have a winning mentality.”
Providing his top four, he added: “Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, and Chelsea.”
Last season, Liverpool won the Premier League title and will hope to retain it again this term.
Arsenal finished in second place last season, ahead of Manchester City and Chelsea in third and fourth positions, respectively.
