Joint security heads visit personel on special operations across Imo

The Heads of various security agencies in Imo State have visited their men and officers stationed at some strategic points across the State to boost their morals in the fight against insecurity.

The Police spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, the State Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, together with the military Service Commanders, visited the Joint Security Operatives engaged in special operations at Okigwe and other flash points.

He noted that the visit aimed at assessing the progress of the mission and reaffirming the united resolve of security agencies to safeguard lives and property in the state.

Okoye, Present at the visit include the Commander 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze, Brigadier General I. M. Abass, Air Commodore D. E. Bello, Commander Nigerian Air Force 211 Quick Response Group ,QRG, and the Commander Oguta Naval Base.

They joined the CP in commending the operatives for their courage, professionalism, and discipline in addressing security threats in the Okigwe axis, assuring them that their efforts are crucial to restoring peace.

In their separate remarks, the security Chiefs, reaffirmed their commitment to providing sustained military support for the operation, urging the operatives to maintain vigilance, adhere strictly to operational standards, and remain focused on the mission until the objectives are fully achieved.

In his speech, the State Police Commissioner, reassured residents that the Command in synergy with other security agencies remain resolute in eliminating criminal activities across the state.
