WAFU B Women’s Champions League: Police ladies label Bayelsa Queens tough

Ghana Women’s League Champions, Police Ladies head coach, Yusif Basigi has described the Group B of the upcoming WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers as the toughest.

The group consists of Nigerian Women Football League, NWFL champions, Bayelsa Queens, Association Sportive de la Kozah of Togo, Sam Nelly FC of Benin and Police Ladies of Ghana.

Basigi labelled Bayelsa Queens a big team.

“For me, the draw is fair, but our group is the toughest,” Basigi was quoted on SportyFM.

“Bayelsa Queens are a big team, but every club here has earned the right to compete. We’ll approach it match by match, with the target of reaching the main tournament.”

The WAFU B qualifiers is scheduled to run from August 23 to September 4 in Côte d’Ivoire.
