Piers Morgan, the British broadcaster, has criticised Arsenal despite their 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Morgan also mocked United for losing at home to the Gunners.
Riccardo Calafiori scored the only goal of the match to hand Mikel Arteta’s side the win.
Reacting in a post on his X account after the game, Morgan insisted that Arsenal are “not firing yet,” while noting that United lost despite much positivity from Ruben Amorim’s men.
“Everyone waxing lyrical about ‘so many positives for United’, so permit me to introduce one negative: they lost,” Morgan wrote.
He added, “Arsenal not firing yet, but a big away win to kick off the season. I’ll take it.”
Arsenal’s next fixture is against Leeds United, while United will face Fulham.
