Celebrity stylist and entrepreneur Toyin Lawani, popularly known as Tiannah’s Place Empire, has expressed her frustration over what she described as one of the most “traumatic experiences” of her career.

In a candid Instagram post, the fashion mogul revealed that despite putting in 25 years of hard work, passion, and sacrifice, she recently encountered a level of selfishness and sabotage she had never seen before. She wrote:

“I have been working for the past 25 years as a celebrity stylist and I don’t think I’ve come across such selfishness before in my life. I put in my sweat and hard work in everything I do. I strive for perfection and go far beyond what I’m paid for. But there’s a line between wickedness, ego, and pride and all this must be left at the door when working with others.”

Lawani stressed that she values humility and respect in her collaborations, calling out those who, according to her, try to sabotage others instead of working together. She added:

“… everyone who knows me, I’m the most humble selfless human being you can ever meet and I give everyone respect because that’s how l also want to be treated.

It’s so shameful how some creative try to sabotage each other in the line of their work. Such a big shame.”

In other news, Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Lilian Esoro, has stirred conversations online with a cryptic post about loyalty, friendship, and relationships.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress wrote:

“When a friend looks out for you… never betray a friend for your own benefit, especially when facing a difficult situation or controversy. It may be rosy now… sometimes, most times, it’s not forever. Don’t get carried away by love or lust… men/boys will make you lose your friends (and the real ones).

There is so much that friend can take when you keep throwing them under the bus. (If the shoe fits after reading this, then this message is for you!).”

Though Lilian did not mention names, her words have sparked reactions from fans, many of whom believe the message is directed at someone close to her.
