NPFL: Odigie appointed Bayelsa United technical adviser

Nigeria Premier Football League side Bayelsa United have announced the appointment of Monday Odigie as their new technical adviser.

Odigie takes the place of Ladan Bosso, who left the Yenagoa club at the end of last season.

Bosso has since joined newly promoted club, Barau FC.

Former internationals Kennedy Boboye and Eddy Dombraye were also considered for the job.

Odigie, however, beat the duo to the technical adviser position.

The former Golden Eaglets coach will be assisted by Domo Okara.

Odigie last managed another Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance.

Bayelsa United will travel to Shooting Stars for their first game of the season this weekend.
