Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard has named three current best wingers in the world.

The 45-year-old spoke during a recent quickfire round of questions with ESPN.

When asked to name his best three wingers in the world at the moment, Gerrard selected Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid’s Vinicius and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

The former Aston Villa head coach said: “Lamine Yamal, Vinicius and Mo Salah”.

Yamal helped Barcelona to win the LaLiga title last season and he is considered as one of the top contenders for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Vinicius finished as runners up in the 2024 Ballon d’Or, behind Rodri of Manchester City.

Salah, meanwhile, helped Liverpool to win the Premier League title last season.
