Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra, has predicted a World Cup final between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

It means the World Cup final game would be played between Portugal and Argentina.

Messi and Ronaldo are still respected as best players in the game despite being in the twilight of their careers.

They now play in the Saudi Pro League and the American Major League soccer, Al Nassr and Inter Miami and Al-Nassr, respectively.

Messi helped Argentina to win the 2022 World Cup, while Ronaldo is yet to take Portugal to a World Cup final.

From all indications, Messi and Ronaldo will be at the next World Cup which kicks off next summer.
