Niger Tornadoes are set to adopt the Lafia City Stadium in Lafia as their home ground for the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

The Ikon Allah Boys original home ground the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna failed to meet requirements to host matches in the NPFL.

Niger Tornadoes will lock horns with Nasarawa United in their opening fixture of the new season.

The encounter will take place at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl Stadium, Ilorin next week Wednesday.

“We are going to play our first home game in ilorin, just the first match,” an official of the club told DAILY POST.

“After the first game if we cannot get approval to play in Minna we may go to Lafia Nassarawa state.”
