The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has criticised governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for holding a political meeting in Zamfara State days after bandits attacks claimed several lives.
Gunmen have continued to attack communities in Zamfara, with recent figures indicating that 24 people were killed, 16 injured and 144 kidnapped across multiple local government areas.

The PDP governors met in the state on Saturday, August 23.
In a statement on Sunday, ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, described the meeting as insensitive to victims of the violence, saying it showed disregard for those affected.
