Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche on Monday named a 27-man provisional squad for his side’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

Regulars Fabrice Ntwari, Innocent Nshuti, Ange Mutsinzi and captain Bizimana Djihad are among those included in the squad.

The list consists of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders and nine strikers.

Amrouche will trim the squad before the team’s departure to Nigeria on Wednesday, September 3.

The Amavubi will face Nigeria in a matchday seven clash at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, September 6.

They will then host the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

Rwanda currently sit second in Group C with eight points from six matches.
