Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has singled out the duo of Rabiu Ali and Ahmed Musa for praise after the victory over Kano Pillars in Umuahia.

Paul Samson’s lone strike gave Abia Warriors maximum points in the matchday one fixture at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.

Amapakabo believes that the veterans were a cause for worry for his team in the game.

“You can’t have the calibre of Ali and Musa in a team they are like having two coaches on the pitch their qualities goes beyond,” Amapakabo stated in a post-match interview.

“As I told my players off the ball they are minus two on the ball they are dangerous and they showed quality but congratulations to my players they held their ground defensively.”
