Gary Neville and Roy Keane, former Manchester United stars, have expressed worry over Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount.

Keane is also worried that the Man United head coach Ruben Amorim likes Mount, while Neville is concerned that the Red Devils boss doesn’t fancy Mainoo.

Speaking on The Overlap, Neville said: “I cannot help thinking that he [Amorim] does not quite fancy Mainoo.

“He is never really put him from the beginning. He is gone with Casemiro and Fernandes but Amorim needs to sort the midfield out.

“You cannot have that midfield. They have tried Mount, Fernandes, Ugarte, Casemiro but he is changing a lot every game. I think Ruben Amorim really likes Mount.”

On his part, Keane added: “Do you honestly think Mount is going to get [Manchester ] United back?”
