Governor Alex Otti, on Friday, chaired Abia State monthly security council meeting where the security situation and sustenance of safe environment of the state was appraised.

During the meeting also, security agencies were charged to be on red alert to ensure that criminals who on the run from neighboring States do not enter or settle in Abia.

‎The outcome of the security meeting was made known to Journalists by Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Navy Commander MacDonald Uba (Rtd) and the Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa.

According to top shots, the monthly security meeting was used by the security agencies in the state, to share and compare notes among various security agencies operating in the state.

‎CP Isa and Commander Uba who urged citizens to always volunteer useful information to security agencies about suspicious movements around them, assured them that Abia State remains safe and secure.
