At least seven Arsenal players could be unavailable for their trip to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ahead of the match, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are all injured.

Leandro Trossard has also emerged as a doubt for the top-of-the-table clash.

“We haven’t got Gabriel Jesus, we haven’t got Kai Havertz and we don’t have Bukayo,” Arteta said.

“That is our reality and Leandro Trossard too, probably.”

Also, captain Martin Odegaard is facing a late fitness test. Christian Norgaard and Ben White also remain fitness doubts.

This means there is a possibility that Arteta could go with an attack made up of summer arrivals, if Eberechi Eze is picked alongside Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke in the starting XI.
