Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has criticized the first half display of midfielder, Enzo Fernandez against Fulham on Saturday.

Maresca insisted the 2022 Argentina World Cup winner wasn’t good enough in the first half of the Blues’ 2-0 victory against Fulham.

Two goals from Joao Pedro and Fernandez gave the Blues all three points against the visitors.

At half-time, Fernandez appeared frustrated as he headed towards the dressing room.

When asked why his captain wasn’t happy at half-time, Maresca said at his post-match interview: “The answer is, he is a Club World Cup winner, he is a World Cup winner.

“And when he is not good enough, he can recognise.

“And probably he was upset for that. Because in the first-half I think he wasn’t good enough.
