Enyimba secured their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes in Aba on Sunday.

Joseph Abiodun netted the decisive goal in the sixth minute.

At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers United also claimed a 1-0 win over Kwara United, with Ubong Friday striking in the 22nd minute.

Bayelsa United recorded their second win of the campaign, beating Barau FC 2-0 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa. Wisdom Magbisa and Ofem Nneoyi were on target for the Prosperity Boys.

In Kano, Pillars and Wikki Tourists played out a 1-1 draw at the Sani Abacha Stadium. Ahmed Lamido opened the scoring for Wikki Tourists in the 12th minute before Mustapha Umar equalised for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
