Chelsea striker, Nicolas Jackson, has seen his loan move to Bayern Munich collapse.

The Bundesliga champions confirmed this on Saturday.

The two clubs had struck an agreement on terms, before Jackson was given permission to travel to Germany.

Jackson flew in Munich to finalize the deal with Bayern.

But Liam Delap suffered a hamstring problem in the first half Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham.

The injury led to Chelsea calling off Jackson’s move.

Speaking to reporters after their 3-2 win at Augsburg, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said: “Chelsea informed us that they would like the player back after we agreed yesterday.

“The situation now is that the lad is here in Munich, but we are sending him back.”
