A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Pantami Ward, Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Adamu, has formally resigned from the party to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement cited by DAILYPOST, Adamu explained that his decision was based on personal conviction and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the country’s democratic process.

“I have decided to take a new political direction by joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This decision is based on personal conviction and my desire to continue contributing meaningfully to our democratic thoughts on a new platform,” he said.

Adamu, also known as Cikasoro, expressed his gratitude to the PDP for the experiences and opportunities he had during his membership.

“This decision was not made lightly, and I want to express my appreciation for the experiences and opportunities I have had during my time as a member,” he added.
