Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has expressed disappointment with his team’s 2-0 loss to Warri Wolves.
Ilechukwu admitted that his team lost the game due to a tactical mistake.
Godwin Oham and Prince Ebhohon’s goals sealed victory for Warri Wolves at the Southern Delta University Stadium, Ozoro, on Sunday.
“It wasn’t the result we wanted. When we were a goal down, we took the risk by reducing the numbers in midfield and increasing the numbers in attack to look for a goal, and that resulted in conceding the second goal,” Ilechukwu stated in a post-match interview.
The Flying Antelopes are without a win in their opening two fixtures of the new season.
Rangers will be up against Plateau United in their next game in Jos.
Ilechukwu’s team will be targeting their first win of the campaign in the game.
