Alexander Isak has spoken for the first time after his move to Liverpool was confirmed on transfer deadline day.
The Premier League champions have signed the 25-year-old for £125m.
Isak will put pen to paper on a six-year deal with the Reds.
The deal for Isak eclipses the current British record of £115m, which Chelsea paid Brighton for Moises Caicedo in 2023.
“I feel amazing. It’s been a long journey to get here,” Isak said.
“But I’m super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for. It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans, and getting back out there.”
