Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has congratulated the Chairman of the Benue State APC Elders Forum and former Senator representing Benue North East, Senator Barnabas Gemade, on his 77th birthday.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, mnipr, on Thursday, Governor Alia described Senator Gemade, a former Minister of Works and one-time Chief Executive Officer of the Benue Cement Company (BCC), as an accomplished engineer and politician who has contributed greatly to the service of his people and the nation.

He further noted that as Chairman of the APC Elders Forum in Benue, the septuagenarian has remained a strong supporter of the party’s administration at both state and national levels, offering invaluable advice and guidance.

The governor prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Senator Gemade, wishing him many more years of good health and wisdom.
