Olusanya Olumide Adediran, the founder of EazzyTranzact Payment Services and EazzyOil Petroleum Gas Energy Limited, is under probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged illegal foreign exchange transaction.

This is even as the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted the EFCC permission to temporarily seize 10 properties allegedly traced to him.

Trial Justice M.G. Umar granted the interim forfeiture order after hearing an ex-parte application brought before the court by the EFCC.

It was further alleged that Adediran and his companies misrepresented themselves as legitimate forex traders.

The EFCC stated that under a supposed “Bilateral Currency Exchange Forward Agreement,” the nominal complainant paid N50.4 billion into their accounts for the purchase of $31,514,383.00, to be delivered within 30 days.
